This brooch was likely made in the mid 20th century when poodle skirts and doggie themes were en vogue. It is especially cute for its exaggerated proportions– its extra long ears and body, its little short stubby legs, its curly tail and upturned snout! The brooch measures about 1 3/4 inches long and 3/4 inch at its tallest. It is about 1/2 inch at its thickest, to the tip of the snout.
